Meet The Team
Greg Barclay - Founder
Regenerative Farming
Regenerative Farming Practices have been around the world for many decades, however modern understanding of biological function is allowing us to establish a fully functioning recycling system with higher energy pastures onto farms at a rate much faster than previously observed.
We now have the option to replace the fossil fuel burning paradigm in agriculture, the one with wastes that are destructive on to our natural environment, with a solar energy system, that is regenerative of our natural systems and any waste is fully recyclable.
Our only actions we need to take is to remove any destructive input and practice, and replace these with rebuilding our natural energy recycling systems.
We are foolish to attempt to ‘control’ nature. It did a fine job in perfection without humans, we need to ‘understand’ it and then manage it to help it to help us.
Healthier
Soils
Healthier Water
Healthier Plants
Healthier Animals
Healthier Humans
How?
We can do this with 99% of the necessary resources supplied from our lands, and once in place it takes very low levels of maintenance.Soil Connection has the systems and we have the proof. Are you brave enough to lead, trust your instinct, and star in the regeneration of our whenua?
Organic Certification
Soil Connection transitions farms to full Organic status (BioGrow NZ Organic Certification) within cashflow while maintaining productivity.
Lifestyle
We have coached and facilitated many dairy farms throughout NZ to full Organic Certification. Alongside the ongoing benefits of regenerative and organic farming practices, a big part of our WHY is the feedback that farmers are reconnecting with their lifestyle and their families by changing the way they farm.
